Sorry it's been so long since my last post but its been a busy week. Last Sunday night I got to stay with Kevin and the dogs for the night and then Monday during the day because Katie left me. It was okay but I was incredibly excited when she came home! Then, yesterday I got to go to the beach and roll around and get really dirty and gross. It was so much fun. But then Katie made me go to the store and take a bath...ew. I hate baths. Although when I was done I got to see Paul and Kevin and then I went home with them AGAIN!!! I was super excited to go play with Chuckie some more, although he wasn't too excited to see me. I stayed with them for the night and came back to the store today to go home with Katie. And let me tell you I am exhausted!! I am going to sleep through everything tonight, and probably wont even wake up tomorrow! Oh and by the way I am still doing extremely well on my walks and being outside. Katie is incredibly proud of me.

Olive has officially found a new and GREAT home. She is moving at to the suburbs with a retired couple and a backyard. They are the parents of one of the employees. She is going to have a great life and we will be getting updates.
Meanwhile I am as happy as can be!!! Today we went to the small dog beach and I wrestled with a boxer and a pit bull mix in the water. I had a BLAST!!! And I was such a good girl! I am now exhausted because it was such a long and tiring walk, but I just wanted to share the fact that I again am the only dog in this house and absolutely loving it!! YEAH ME!

I had the best adventure ever yesterday!!!! So after Katie left for work, with Olive, I went to work at the back door, that Katie had forgotten to lock. :) After lots of work I got the back door open and took off. I was found on Halstead by a guy on a bike and eventually ended up in the back seat of some womans car!!! I thought she might take me to the store to see Katie but no instead Paul and Kevin came and picked me up!!! It was sooooo exciting, they took me to there house where I got to play with Chuckie for the rest of the afternoon until Katie came to get me. I was sooo proud of myself for escaping. We left Olive with Paul last night and I finally had my house back for at least one night. It was the best night of my life!
Then she came back..... :(
Lets hope I never do that again, because I think Katie was a little worried about me, but I sure did have a GREAT day!!!


A side note from Katie:
Olive is currently looking for a new more permanent home. If any of you reading this are interested please let us know. She's a great girl, Shirley is just a one dog family kind of girl.

I am still doing incredibly well. I am a little jealous that Olive gets to go with Katie eveyday to work, but I am sure I will get over that. I also do kind of miss sleeping on the bed but I refuse to share the bed with Olive for right now. I saw lots of rabbits today on our walk and I was extremely excited about it!! It took us a long time to walk around our normal path because I kept stoppping and staring at them!!

Nothing else new to report for now!

I am amazing! We ventured out further then our normal walk yesterday. Not quite to the lake but almost there and I was such a good girl! I was so concerned with where we were walking and the treats I was getting that I could have cared less who was there and who we were passing. I am being so good with Olive too, now that I have realized Katie isn't getting rid of me or replacing me. I am still and always will be her baby!! Thats all for now, I am exhausted from the bath Katie made me get earlier and playing with Paul and Bart and avoiding Pickles.

This is how much Katie LOVES me!!!
